How do I join the community?

To join, you just need to register on our website:
	•	Go to the homepage and click the “Become a Member” button.
	•	Fill in your details. Make sure you use real information and complete all the required fields. If you don’t include your phone number, you won’t be added to our WhatsApp groups, and you’ll only join our mailing list. If you use a nickname or false name, we won’t be able to verify your identity and your request will not be accepted.
	•	Check your email. Seconds after registering, you’ll receive a verification message for your email account, along with the links to join the available groups in our community.
	•	Choose the ones you’d like to join and send your request. The verification process may take up to 48 hours.

My request hasn’t been accepted, why?

There are several reasons why your request may not have gone through. Here are the most common ones so you can avoid them:

•You didn’t register on our website: If a friend sent you a direct link to one of our groups and you requested to join without registering on our website, your request will not be accepted no matter how many times you resend it.

•You didn’t include your phone number in the registration: If you didn’t provide a phone number, or entered an incorrect one, we cannot match your request with your registration. Make sure your details are accurate. Note that we will never use your number to send you ads or request information. It is only required for the verification process.

•Your phone number is not from the European Union: If your number is not EU-based, your request cannot be accepted. This is a security measure to prevent scams, since we’ve had many attempts from bots and individuals abroad trying to commit fraud. If you’ve just moved to Italy, you can easily get a SIM card with a valid number at authorized stores. Once you have it, you can register again on our website and your request will be accepted within the expected timeframe.

•Your registered data doesn’t match: If you registered as “Derek Jeter” but your WhatsApp name is “Mr. Fun,” your request may not be processed. We suggest that, at least during the verification stage, you change your WhatsApp name to your real name for 48 hours (the processing period). After that, you can switch back. At least one of your names (first or last) must match the registration data.

• You have sent too many requests and your data has been blocked: 
To prevent spam and bots, our system blocks repeated or overly frequent submissions. If your request was not approved within 24 hours, we suggest trying again after a few days. If you submit too many requests in a row, the system will block your data and will not accept your request.

•We are processing too many requests at once: At certain times of the year, we receive far more requests than we can handle. Our community is growing quickly, so this can happen. In such cases, your request may take longer than expected. Please be patient.

•Your account/number has been blocked: If you were removed from one of our groups or the community for not respecting the rules or our terms and conditions, your number will be blocked in our database and you won’t be able to rejoin or send requests again.

•Possible system errors: If, after reviewing the above, you believe none apply to your case, please send us an email at torinogathering@gmail.com and we will do our best to identify and fix the issue as soon as possible.

I've registered but nothing happened

I registered but nothing happened, what should I do?
Check your email inbox. Due to European regulations, we cannot add you directly to our WhatsApp groups, so it won’t happen automatically. Seconds after registering, you’ll receive an email with all the group links in our community. From there, you can choose the ones you’re interested in and join them yourself.

How much does it cost?

Registration to join our community is free, as are most of the activities you’ll find there. Some events have a small arrangement fee to help sustain the community and cover basic structural costs.
